Request for Assistance

Dear Reader,
I would be very happy if this page gives the opportunity to support people in need. Only then the work on this page becomes wothwhile. In cooperation with the Thuringian-Cambodian-Assiciation (TKG e.V.) and the Cambodian organization COMPED we specifically want to support the people from the wastepicker milieu and consequently give them the chance to free themselves from poverty and unworthy living conditions. The main focus of our work is on basic health care as well as scholarship and vocational training for young wastepickers.

Additionally, research projects shall be supported, which focus on the presence of waste in poor urban communities in coherence with the appearance of infectious diseases. For more information or your interest in cooperation, please contact (with the note "wastepicker"): yulen@mac.com
